Ký hiệu khoa học là gì?
Một cách viết số dưới dạng phần định trị (mantissa) từ 1 đến 10 nhân với lũy thừa của 10, ví dụ 4.5 × 10⁻⁴ tương ứng với 0.00045.
Ký hiệu kỹ thuật (engineering notation) là gì?
Tương tự ký hiệu khoa học nhưng số mũ luôn là bội số của 3, khớp với các tiền tố SI (kilo, milli, micro…).
E-notation là gì?
Dạng ký hiệu khoa học dùng trên máy tính/máy tính bỏ túi, ví dụ 4.5e-4 nghĩa là 4.5 × 10⁻⁴.
