QR Code Generator — URL, Wi-Fi, Email, Phone & SMS QR Codes
Generate customizable QR codes from URLs, text, Wi-Fi, email, phone numbers and SMS. Download QR codes as PNG or SVG.
Content
Include the country code (e.g. +84) so it works when scanned abroad.
Style
Logo
PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF or SVG, max 2 MB. Processed locally — never uploaded.
Error correction is raised to H while a logo is set, so the hidden modules can be recovered.

How to use
- 1 Pick what the QR code should contain — a URL, plain text, Wi-Fi login, email, phone number or SMS.
- 2 Fill in the fields; the preview updates as you type and flags invalid input.
- 3 Adjust size, colors, error correction and quiet zone, and optionally add a logo.
- 4 Download the code as a PNG at the chosen resolution or as a scalable SVG.
Why use this tool
- Six content types with the correct payload formats (WIFI:, mailto:, tel:, smsto:) and proper escaping.
- Readability guard rails — contrast and quiet-zone warnings, logo size cap and automatic H-level error correction.
- Crisp output: pixel-snapped PNG up to 2048 px and a valid, infinitely scalable SVG.
- Generated entirely in your browser — no content or logo is uploaded, no tracking links, no expiry.
Frequently asked questions
Do these QR codes expire?
No. The data is encoded directly in the code — there is no redirect service in between, so the code works for as long as the URL or details inside it stay valid.
Is my content sent to a server?
No. The QR code is generated by JavaScript in your browser. Your text, Wi-Fi password and logo never leave your device.
Which error correction level should I choose?
M (~15% recovery) suits most screens and prints. Use Q or H for codes that may get scratched, printed small, or carry a logo — higher levels add more modules, so the code becomes denser.
Why is error correction forced to H with a logo?
A logo covers part of the code. Level H can recover about 30% of the data, and the logo size is capped so it never hides more than the code can repair.
PNG or SVG?
Use SVG for print and design tools — it scales to any size without blurring. Use PNG for documents, slides, chat apps and websites.
How does the Wi-Fi QR code work?
It uses the standard WIFI:T:WPA;S:name;P:password;; format that iOS and Android cameras recognise. Special characters such as ; , : and " in the name or password are escaped automatically.
What is QR Code Generator?
A QR Code Generator is a tool that encodes data — a URL, text, Wi-Fi credentials, an email address, a phone number or an SMS — into a two-dimensional QR (Quick Response) matrix barcode defined by ISO/IEC 18004. It formats the payload in the scheme a phone camera understands (for example WIFI:, mailto:, tel: or smsto:), applies Reed-Solomon error correction at level L, M, Q or H, and renders the symbol as a raster PNG or a vector SVG.
Features
Six content types
URL, plain text, Wi-Fi (WPA/WPA2, WEP or open, hidden networks), email with subject and body, phone number and SMS — each with its own form and validation.
Full styling control
Foreground and background colors, transparent background, quiet zone from 0 to 10 modules and error correction levels L, M, Q and H.
Logo with guard rails
Add a centred logo with its own background and padding; error correction is raised to H and the logo is capped so the code stays scannable.
PNG and SVG export
Pixel-snapped PNG at 256, 512, 1024 or 2048 px, a valid scalable SVG, and copy-to-clipboard where the browser allows it.
Example
Input
Type: Wi-Fi · SSID: Cafe;Guest · Security: WPA/WPA2 · Password: p@ss:word
Output
WIFI:T:WPA;S:Cafe\;Guest;P:p@ss\:word;;
Common use cases
-
1
Guest Wi-Fi card
Print a Wi-Fi QR code so guests join the network by pointing their camera at it — no typing the password.
-
2
Link from print to web
Put a QR code for a landing page, menu or form on posters, flyers, packaging and business cards.
-
3
One-tap contact actions
Let people call, text or email you instantly with tel:, smsto: and mailto: QR codes.
Zerethon's QR Code Generator creates static QR codes entirely in the browser from a URL, plain text, Wi-Fi credentials (WIFI:T:WPA;S:…;P:…;; with \ ; , : " escaped), an email (mailto: with optional subject/body), a phone number (tel:) or an SMS (smsto:number:message). Users choose PNG size (256–2048 px), colors, transparent background, quiet zone and error correction L/M/Q/H, and can add a logo, which forces level H and is capped at 30% of the symbol width. Output downloads as a pixel-snapped PNG or a valid scalable SVG. Nothing is uploaded and the codes never expire.
