Zerethon Tools respects user privacy.

This Privacy Policy explains how Zerethon Tools (tools.zerethon.com and its browser-extension companion) may collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the tools. Zerethon Tools is a free suite of browser-based developer and creator utilities — it is not the Zerethon Social network, and this policy does not cover that separate product (see zerethon.com/privacy for the ecosystem-wide policy).

Zerethon Tools may collect information such as:

• Account information, only if you choose to sign in with your Zerethon identity (e.g. name, email, avatar) — most tools work fully without signing in
• The waitlist email address you provide when signing up for the browser extension
• Nothing — Zerethon Tools has no posts, comments, friend requests, or other social features
• Technical data, such as IP address, device information, browser type, operating system, logs, and usage data
• For Web3 tools specifically: only what you type into the tool (e.g. a wallet address to validate) — this is processed in your browser and is not stored by us

Zerethon Tools may use information to:

• Provide and improve the tools
• Manage your Zerethon identity sign-in, if you choose to use one
• Notify browser-extension waitlist subscribers when the extension ships
• Understand which tools are actually used, so we can prioritize improvements
• Maintain platform security and prevent abuse (e.g. rate-limiting scripted requests)
• Improve performance, design, and user experience
• Communicate important updates
• Comply with applicable obligations

For most tools, what you type or paste into a tool is processed entirely in your browser and is never sent to our servers — see "Tools That Run in Your Browser" below. A small number of tools that require a network call (for example, fetching a remote URL to generate a preview) send only what that specific action needs, and we do not store that input.

Zerethon Tools may use cookies, local storage, analytics tools, or similar technologies to remember your language/theme preference, keep you signed in if you chose to sign in, and understand aggregate usage (e.g. Google Analytics, currently opt-in and off by default). Users may be able to control certain cookie preferences through their browser settings.

Most Zerethon Tools run entirely in your browser and do not send your input to our servers. When a tool requires a network call (for example, fetching a remote URL for preview), that request is processed only to deliver the requested result and is not used to build a personal profile of the user.

Zerethon Tools uses Google AdSense to support the cost of running these tools for free. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads and measure their performance, which may include personalized advertising based on your visits to this and other sites.

Zerethon uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user information. However, no digital platform can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials safe.

Zerethon Tools retains information only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected — for example, waitlist emails until the extension ships and you can unsubscribe, or as needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse.

Zerethon does not sell user personal information. Information may be shared only when needed to operate the tools, work with service providers (including Google Analytics and Google AdSense, see above), comply with legal obligations, prevent abuse, or protect users and the platform.

Zerethon Tools may link to or integrate with third-party services such as the shared Zerethon authentication provider, Google Analytics, and Google AdSense. Third-party services have their own terms and privacy practices.

If you signed in, you may update your profile information or request account and data changes through your Zerethon identity settings. Waitlist subscribers can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.

Zerethon is not intended for children below the minimum age required by applicable law. Users must meet the minimum age requirement for their region to use the platform.

Zerethon may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes are made, the updated version will be posted on the website with a revised effective date.
